Sonakshi was the original choice to play with Shahid

Apparently, Sonakshi Sinha was the original choice to play Shahid’s love interest in the film. But the filmmakers felt that she wouldn’t make a good pair with Sasha, so they changed their minds and opted for the slim framed Kapoor girl.

Sonam Kapoor, who won a role in Shahid Kapoor’s home production, `Mausam`, might be thanking her stars but newbie Sonakshi Sinha has no fond memories related to the film.

Reportedly, junior Shotgun was to give a screen test for the film which never took place. And Sona did not appreciate such a move from the filmmakers` end.

However, Shahid is now keen to work with the `Dabangg` hottie and has been sending this message across through his friends. But the daughter of Shotgun that she is, she wouldn’t dampen her self respect any longer.

So we might not see the Shahid-Sonakshi jodi sizzle on the silver screen unless the two young actors decide to reconcile.

Confirming the news, a source said, “Priyanka and Sahil get along like a house on fire. They are very good friends. ‘Don 2’ is Sahil`s first film and the actor was struggling for a bit to come to grips with the demands of this mega-project. We hear Priyanka gave him tips and helped him get a few things right.”

Priyanka and Shahid spotted romancing

Priyanka Chopra and Shahid Kapur, who have recently been voted as the best couple in an online poll, are very much together, confirm our sources. Although, there were split rumours doing the rounds but the couple seem very much in love. Earlier, they were spotted working out in a gym and now the two were seen having a romantic, cosy lunch – where they were devouring each other with their eyes.

Shahid couldn’t make it to the IIFA, where Priyanka was being felicitated but he tried to make it up by asking her out for a date at her favourite restaurant. According to a source, Shahid wanted to celebrate the success of Piggy Chops, who seems to bagging every other award for her role in ‘Fashion’.

“Shahid wanted to make it up to Priyanka for not being able to attend the awards function with her. So, he decided to take her out to her favourite restaurant,” said a source.

An eyewitness said, “To anyone who hadn’t read and believed their split story, they looked like any normal couple in love. They looked very much in love and quite cute together, as they had eyes only for each other. Priyanka especially looked relaxed.”

शहीद कपूर का दीवाना अब बच्चे भी

पुणे के एक स्कूल में जब शाहिद शूटिंग कर रहे थे तो स्कूल के बच्चे अपने इस पसंदीदा हीरो से मिलने के लिए बेताब थे और यहां तक कि अपनी कक्षाओं में भी नहीं जा रहे थे। इसका मतलब शाहिद कपूर के चाकलेटी चेहरे पर न सिर्फ युवतियां फिदा है बल्कि बच्चे भी उनके दीवाने हैं।

हुआ यूं कि शाहिद स्कूल में शूटिंग कर रहे थे। स्कूल के बच्चों के विश्राम के लिए जैसे ही घंटी बजी, लगभग दो सौ बच्चे अपने इस चहेते स्टार से मिलने के लिए आ गये। शाहिद उस समय शूटिंग कर रहे थे, इसलिए वे बच्चॉं से तुरंत नहीं मिल पाये।

मजे की बात यह है कि जो बच्चे अपनी शिक्षक और शिक्षिकाओं की बात न मानकर अपनी कक्षाओं में नहीं जा रहे थे, वे शाहिद के अनुरोध पर चले गये।

इस पर बच्चे शाहिद से मिलने के लिए धैर्यपूर्वक उसका इंतजार करने लगे। शाहिद को जैसे ही फुरसत मिली वे बच्चों के बीच आये। बच्चे उनसे मिकर बहुत खुश हुए और शाहिद से बातचीत करने के लिए उनके बीच होड मच गई।

बच्चे शाहिद से मिलने के लिए इतने बैचेन थे कि वे कक्षाओं में भी नहीं जा रहे थे। स्कूल के शिक्षकों ने जब बच्चों को कक्षाओं में जाने को कहा तो बच्चे मानने को तैयार ही नहीं हुए। लेकिन जब शाहिद ने बच्चों को प्यार से समझाकर कक्षाओं में जाने को कहा तो बच्चे शाहिद का कहना मान गये और बेमन से ही सही अपनी अपनी कक्षाओं में चले गये। इसे कहते हैं शाहिद का जादू।
