Barbara Mori Slapped by Hiritik Roshan

A lot has been written about the on-screen chemistry between Hrithik Roshan and Hollywood hottie Barbara Mori, but both share a great off-screen chemistry also, according to the director of ‘Kites’ - Anurag Basu.

Talking to a news daily about the Hrithik Roshan –Barbara Mori Story , Anurag recalled a humorous event from ‘Kites’, “We were doing an intense scene which had a long dialogue. Towards the end, Barbara was supposed to slap Hrithik. We okayed the scene. But Barbara asked me if it was possible to do a retake, because she wanted to slap Hrithik again. It was a prank, but I decided to play along. Duggu was very surprised when I told him we’d do the scene again because I’d already told him the earlier take was fine.”
Rakesh Roshan’s mega opus ‘Kites’ has courted all sorts of controversies, right from the growing intimacy between Hrithik Roshan and Barabra Mori to the reportedly crumbling marriage of Hrithik and Sussanne. So, quite expectedly, the movie and its lead pair have become hot.

With Basu frantically trying to convince Hrithik, the actor became cautious. “So when we shot again, just as Barbara was about to slap him, Duggu ducked and slapped her instead. Barbara was shocked. Then she realised that Hrithik had seen through her prank and everyone on the sets burst out laughing,” said a playful Basu.

Now Ashutosh Gowariker set for ‘Buddha’!

Ashutosh Gowariker is getting bigger by the day. According to reports, Gowariker is contemplating a grand flick based on the life of Gautam Buddha and it will apparently be the most expensive film ever made in Bollywood.

Gowariker is said to be in talks for the same with Industrialist BK Modi, who has been planning the mega project since long. It is believed that in the past, Modi has been in talks with big names like Deepak Chopra and the Dalai Lama to make a movie on Buddha. Earlier, Shekhar Kapur`s name had come up for the director’s job but things didn`t work out in his favour.

Looks like this flick would prove to be a great accomplishment for Ashutosh for the simple fact that it is India’s grandest project ever in terms of its budget, subject and exposure.

Eesha Koppikhar surprised on her Birthday

Eesha Koppikhar plays a simple girl next door in her forthcoming film Ek Vivaah.. aisa bhi, Before shooting for Ek Vivaah... aisa bhi, She met numerologist Neeraj Manchanda. He said that her name with an ‘I’ does not fall on an auspicious number and advised to use an ‘E’. So she agreed as I thrive on hope and it was good for me. It worked for me as well because I felt positive vibrations.

In this movie she play as Chandani. She is a small girl from Bhopal who wants to be a singer but she is not very ambitious to be a singer. She is the person who unites her family as she does not have a mother. The film shows that it is very important to maintain a relationship. The film shows a relationship between two people which is above marriage.

She was shocked when she got such a role as it was a very different role for me. This industry has typecast me as a glamorous girl. This was the birthday gift for Eesha Koppikhar. Ek Vivaah is inspired by Tapasya. The only difference is that there is a musical love relationship in Ek Vivaah which was not there in Tapasya. There is a lot of romance in our film as well.

She is doing am doing Shabri, Har Pall, Hello Darling, Har Pall and Right Ya Wrong.
