Neetu Chandra’s getting a lot of compliments these days but not because of her role or a film. This talented actress who failed to attract audience in her first film Garam Masala is attracting a lot of eyeballs. Rumors are rife that Neetu went under the knife to get in shape.

According to an industry insider Neetu went through Liposuction surgery done by none other than Priyanka Chopra’s father Ashok Chopra. We contacted the actress who denied the news saying she hasn’t taken any scientific help to lose weight. “No, that’s not true. Though I am not against such surgeries, I haven’t gone through any as yet. I will talk about it when I will do it. Why to hide? I don’t think there’s any harm in it.”

Speaking about her curvaceous figure she said, “Ahh...It’s good that people are noticing it. I have a tendency to put on and lose weight. I am into diet and workouts. Apart from that my martial art helps me a lot to stay fit,” she signs off.

Priyanka Chopra is comfortable being a Lesbian

Priyanka Chopra seems to be getting bolder by the day. Whether it be her look in her last films, or the characters and the kind of films she is opting for, she seems to be eyeing the numero uno crown. She made a point on gay rights too when she told us in a recent chat that they have equal rights to live a dignified life.

And now, the actress gives out yet another statement - that she has no qualms playing a lesbian character if offered. "Why not, I would definitely play a lesbian role, provided the film has a good script and the role demands so," says Chopra.

But the million dollar question is, who among the top actresses will play a lesbian partner to her? Certainly not Kareena Kapoor, given their not-so-great rapport and Priyanka may not want to pair up with Katrina Kaif for her non-existing acting skills! That leaves us with Kangana Ranaut, but rumours have it that the two did not get along so well on the sets of 'Fashion'. So we asked Priyanka herself who would be her preferred choice, and she shot back, "How can I decide, that's up to the filmmakers." Well, we leave it up to the filmmakers too.

Sweet war between Deepika and Kareena

The lady who lost to Deepika Padukone the chance of working with beau Saif in Imtiaz Ali’s film, has made sure to be a part of Saif’s next project with Sriram Raghavan. Kareena Kapoor will be seen romancing her Saif in Raghavan’s spy thriller Agent Vinod . Saif plays the title role and Kareena, his love interest.

Reportedly, Deepika was the first choice for the female lead in Agent Vinod but it seems Kareena was in no mood to take yet another defeat from the young star. However, director Raghavan explains that he never approached Deepika for the film. But yes he is keen to work with Kareena for the same.

Ever since Agent Vinod was announced, Bebo was keen on bagging the role and made sure that Deepika doesn’t get away with her sweety pie this time. Perhaps the lady just wants to be with Saif at all times, at work and otherwise and keep his attention solely on her. We all are aware of Saif’s Casanova ways, aren’t we?

When asked, S Raghavan confirmed, “I haven’t yet signed her but hope to do that soon. I can give more details only by December end.” The film will have two leading ladies – an Indian (Kareena) and a foreign actress. The film will go on the floors in March 2009. Apart from this, Saifeena will be seen together in Karan Johar’s next.

Prity Zinta Wins the best actress awards in Chicago.....

Bollywood star Prity Zinta ecstatic after winning the best actress award at the 44th Chicago International Film Festival for playing a battered Punjabi wife in Deepa Mehta's 'Heaven On Earth'. The award was announced Saturday and will be given Oct 29.

'It was my director Deepa Mehta who informed me on Saturday afternoon that I had won. I couldn't go to Chicago, and neither could Deepa. Without any lobbying I've done it. I am so happy and excited,' Preity Zinta told IANS. 'I'm walking on sunshine. I can't believe where I am,' added Preity who is also getting rave reviews for her performance in the just released 'Heroes'. Preity is thankful to Anupam Kher for her convincing performance in both the films.

'I attended his acting school (Actor Prepares) to get my Punjabi right for both the roles. He taught me how to pronounce the words properly. He has been a blessing.' Preity is that this international award will help sell 'Heaven On Earth' to a global audience.

I don't feel the time is right. I'd want to get married only when I want to have children. Right now let me enjoy this moment. Everyone, who thought those dimples needed to shut down now, this one is for you, guys.' It's amazing, isn't it? I'm so happy for Preity. She's luminous in 'Heaven On Earth' just like Shabana Azmi in 'Fire'. Coincidentally, Shabana was the other actress to win the best actress award at Chicago. I don't think any other Indian actress has won this award.
